INSURANCE QUESTIONS

What patients should know.

Is osteopathy covered by insurance?

Many extended health benefit plans include osteopathic manual therapy, but coverage differs by insurer, employer and individual policy.

Can you confirm my coverage?

We can attempt electronic submission when available, but only your insurer can confirm eligibility, annual limits, referral requirements and reimbursement.

What if direct billing is unavailable?

You can receive a detailed receipt to submit to your insurer according to the requirements of your plan.

What information should I bring?

Bring the plan member’s insurance card or policy details and the patient information required by the insurer.

Please note

Direct billing is a submission service and does not guarantee payment. Patients remain responsible for fees not covered or approved by their insurer.
